# PHP Warning: in /srv/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hooks.php

 * Hi,
 * I get the following error:
 * PHP Warning: Parameter 2 to JiscSite::advanced_custom_search() expected to be
   a reference, value given in /srv/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288
 * I have updated all plugins 1 by 1 and the error still remains. The WP was also
   updated.
 * I have tried different solutions which worked before but now they don’t.
    – Tried
   updating /wp-includes/script-loader.php function wp_default_scripts(&$scripts)
   to ($scripts)
 * PHP Version: 7.3.24
    WordPress version: 5.3.2
 *     ```
       public function apply_filters( $value, $args )
   
       $value = call_user_func_array( $the_['function'], array($args) );
       ```
   
 *  <<< Error here
 * Anyone successfuly solved it?

 * I can just ignore the message but I would like to get rid of it. Also, if debugging
   is allowed the messaged sometimes flood the website with eror logs and it stops
   working.
