Hi! Thank you for the excellent plugin.

After udpating WordPress core and your plugin, we get this php warning:

fopen(/nas/content/live/lexblogms/wp-content/blogs.dir/1321/files/wpcf7_uploads/.htaccess): failed to open stream: Permission denied

Some unique things about our setup:
    – It’s a blogs.dir multisite network.
    – It’s on WP Engine.
    – It’s on php 7.4
    – It uses nginx rules instead of htaccess rules
    – There are hundreds of blogs on this install, so creating an htaccess file in every folder is not a scalable solution.

Full stack trace from new relic:

I understand this is a free and excellent plugin. To whom it may concern, the lack of response makes it hard for me to recommend using this plugin.
