 * Hi,
 * We see a lot of these messages in Apache error-log:
 * PHP message: PHP Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type null
   in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/connections-business-directory-
   face-detect/vendor/facedetector/FaceDetector.php on line 113
 * In the back-end on the manage page images form entry’s aren’t working, but they
   do show up on the front-end. Don’t know if it has to do with above warning.
 * It shows many lines with “ERROR: Image format change failed.”
    And below that
   the entries are visible.
 * Gr, Age
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fphp-warning-310%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * I’ll have to release an update that does an additional check. To get rid of the
   error, for now, you can temporally deactivate the Face Detect add-on for Connections.
 * **RE: In the back-end on the manage page images form entry’s aren’t working,

 * Please temporally deactivate the Face Detect add-on for Connections. Does the
   error persist?
 * Can you please visit the Site Health admin page? Does it report any issues?
 * **RE: It shows many lines with “ERROR: Image format change failed.”
 * Would you please change your admin profile language to English? After you do,
   what does the message state? I suspect an incorrect translation because I can
   not identify that message in Connections.

 * Hi Steven,
 * After deactivating Face Detect images in the backend are dislayed as “No Image
   Available”. But they show up on the front end.
 * I indeed translated it wrong, it says “ERROR: Image resize failed.”
 * Health admin shows 1 critical issue:
    “An active PHP session was detected Performance
 * A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes
   with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close()
   before making any HTTP requests.”

 * **RE: After deactivating Face Detect images in the backend are dislayed as “No
   Image Available”. But they show up on the front end.**
 * On the Connections Manage admin screen, click the Screen Options tab in the upper
   right. Choose to display the image type that is not selected and apply the change.
 * Does that correct the display?
 * **RE: I indeed translated it wrong, it says “ERROR: Image resize failed.”**
 * This indicates that there might be an issue with the GD image library on your
   web host. This is a standard image processing library the WordPress uses.
 * As a test. Would you please upload a new image in the WordPress Media Library?
   After it is uploaded, are you able to successfully scale and crop the image?
 * **RE: Health admin shows 1 critical issue**
 * I suggest deactivating plugins one at a time to determine which plugin is opening
   a session without closing it.
 * I hope this helps!

 * Hi Steven,
 * Sorry, but I’ve missed an email telling me there was a reply 🙁
 * After changing it from Photo to Logo the error messages were gone. Switching
   it back to Photo shows the errors again. So up to the next step!
 * Uploaded a new image into the media gallery. Flipping it an dcropping it is working.

   Rotating isn’t working.
 * GD version on server is gd 2.2.5-7.el8
 * Deactivated all other plugins, still error “ERROR: Image resize failed.”. Site
   Health Status don’t shows a critical error anymore. So I’ll active the plugins
   one by one to see which one is causing it.

 * I noticed the update for Facedetect, just installed it and no more errors in
   Apache error file!

 * Yes, scaling an image in the WordPress Media Library is working.

 * Sorry, I was not more clear… are the images being scaled and cropped correctly
   in Connections now? Or are you still receiving the “ERROR: Image resize failed.”
   message?

 * The error message is still there 🙁
    If you like I can provide you with an admin
   account?

 * It is best that you open a support ticket in your account. Here’s the link:
    - [https://connections-pro.com/my-account/support-tickets/](https://connections-pro.com/my-account/support-tickets/)
 * This issue is very likely an issue with the web host configuration, and there
   will not be much I can do. But, I will definitely help you to make sure it is
   not an obscure bug within Connections.
