.php Theme files updated but…

    Can’t figure out if the following problem is a WordPress issue or a Theme issue.

    1) Manually updating the home.php and uploading to the server via FTP:
    The homepage text should be a quote that says, “Is Your Home Not Selling in today’s Buyer’s Market?” from -Mathew, not say, “Pack Your Bags and Move to Paradise!” from Bill.

    I’ve 2x checked through the WordPress Admin’s Theme Editor that the home.php has the new text edits. It just won’t update on the blog homepage!!!

    2) Within WordPress Admin:
    I updated the blog name/page title of the Blog Site to say more than “mydomain.com Blog” but it doesn’t update on the homepage although the category page has the right info.

    It’s puzzling because I can edit the CSS (font colors, background colors, images, etc.) and the changes instantly get updated… so, why not the rest?
