# PHP Syntaxhighlighting doesn’t work

 * Hi,
 * cool Plugin, which i wanted to use instead of crayon syntax-highlighter, cause
   i missed updates. Unfortunately i have 2 issues with your plugin:
    1.) [https://www.medienvirus.de/svg-dateien-in-wordpress-hochladen/](https://www.medienvirus.de/svg-dateien-in-wordpress-hochladen/)
   <– i set up everything correct but it doesn’t highlight the php-code. if i use
   javascript instead it works fine. what am i doing wrong on that? 2.) i use the
   visual-composer to build my content. The edit-icons don’t show up, so it’s a 
   bit annoying to edit the code. For now i have to copy, delete and paste it everytime
   i want to change something. How can i get rid of this issue?
