PHP Solution for Sidebar Tweak? (Removing 2 theme widgets from index page)

  • Hi WP Community,

I’ve Googled and searched through the forums but to be honest, I’m probably not searching for the right keywords. I’m using the AllTuts theme by Site5 with the Custom Sidebars plugin to allow a different sidebar on my homepage than the rest of the site:

I’m trying to remove the Search and Twitter widgets, but only from the homepage, I’d like to keep them on the rest of the site if possible. I’ve found the applicable code in the sidebar.php file but have no idea if there’s a way to edit it so those two widgets do not appear on the homepage. Any thoughts/help would be much appreciated!

    Search Code
[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

    Thanks,
    Bobby

  • PS – I’ve never posted code to the forums before, please ignore the ‘ at the beginning and end of each code section if I did that incorrectly. Thanks!
