PHP processes running after uninstall make site unreachable

Dont install this plugin unless you want your site broken or you have a litespeed server! After uninstalling the plugin, it still runs PHP processes in the background making our site almost unreachable. The log shows the following error: No request delivery notification has been received from LSAPI application, possible dead lock.

Tried to fix this by increasing PHP max_execution_time but still the loop re-occurs after a couple of days!

Plus a lot of junk in the htaccess file after uninstalling!
