PHP Notices when WP_DEBUG enabled

    I get the following notices regularly in the debug log when I have WP_DEBUG enabled:

    [22-Jul-2013 12:37:06 UTC] PHP Notice:  Uninitialized string offset: 1 in ...wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 400
    [22-Jul-2013 12:37:06 UTC] PHP Notice:  Uninitialized string offset: 1 in ...wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 400
    [22-Jul-2013 13:29:31 UTC] PHP Notice:  Uninitialized string offset: 1 in ...wp-content/plugins/akismet/admin.php on line 675
