# PHP Notice: Uninitialized string

 * I am getting many, many PHP Notice messages on my test system:
 * Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 2 in /wp-content/plugins/wp-hotkeys/wp-hotkeys.

 * Hmmm, I’m not seeing this on my system, which makes me think it may be a conflict
   with a specific menu item you have on your install. Have you tried disabling 
   other plugins to determine if the problem is resolved? If so, can you please 
   let me know which plugin gives rise to the issue?

 * Thanks for your response and your patience in awaiting my reply.
 * I originally reported this problem on behalf of a user of my own plugin, [Media Library Assistant](https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-library-assistant/).
   They have since removed WP Hotkeys from their system.
 *  I installed WP Hotkeys on my test system and confirmed that [WPML Multilingual CMS](https://wpml.org/),
   Version 3.2.7 by OnTheGoSystems will generate a few hundred of the messages on
   any admin-mode menu page.
