 * Hi
 * I’m getting the below PHP notice in my error_log file:
 * [09-Mar-2018 13:35:38 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: mail_success in /home/
   ~user~/public_html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/modules/backup/
   class-itsec-backup.php on line 252
 * Any clues?
 * WP: 4.9.4
    iThemes Security: 6.9.2
 * All plugins and WP uptodate.
 * Thanks

 * It seems [@gerroald](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gerroald/) forgot to
   mention that as a temporary workaround you can change the value set for the **
   Backup Method** setting in the **Database Backups** module.
 * Since the issue will only occur when the value set for the **Backup Method**
   setting is ‘Save Locally Only’, changing it to ‘Save Locally and Email’ (or ‘
   Email Only’) will prevent it from happening…

 * Thanks for both responses guys!
 * Will look at the temp fix from [@nlpro](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nlpro/)
   and look forward to the permanent fix from [@gerroald](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gerroald/)
   and iThemes
