Hello, thanks for the plugin;

We have upgraded to the latest version 2.5.1, but our server logs are still being flooded of

PHP Notice: Undefined index: autoptimize_extra_text_field_2 in …/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/autoptimizeExtra.php on line 280

on each page request.

(Similar to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/undefined-index-autoptimize_extra_checkbox_field_/ but not the same variable)

thanks for reporting tasmer, just committed a fix in AO’s Beta branch, would be great if you could download it here & test.

Thanks for your quick reply. I have tried your fix ( https://github.com/futtta/autoptimize/commit/a1b4d224d574fc5edb570f0dc31ba501e3578cd3?w=1 ) but it causes a Fatal error ([] operator not supported for strings): the added initialization
$preconns = ''; should rather be
$preconns = array();
which will indeed fix the issue

(I guess the error only manifested with a specific combination of config options)

We are looking forward to the next release (be it 2.5.2 or 2.6.0)
