PHP math?

  • I see in the docs that I can do php in the import fields. I ‘d like to be able to do arithmetic on an imported node – that is, the node is a weight field that is in grams and I need it to be kilograms in the database, plus I want to strip out other text.

So, the imported data (shipping_weight) says ‘320 grams’ … I want to be able to strip out the ‘grams’ text and divide the 320 by 1000 – so that it become .320

Is this possible? I have tried [({shipping_weight} / 1000 )] but I get the error ‘Unexpected symbol ‘\”

    Thanks
