Support » Installing WordPress » PHP Install – GoDaddy

  • Sooo…

    I’ve uploaded my files via FTP, I’ve created the database, I’ve got the domain…but for some reason the only thing that my site is pulling up is this…on all pages:

    * Front to the WordPress application. This file doesn’t do anything, but loads
    * wp-blog-header.php which does and tells WordPress to load the theme.
    * @package WordPress

    * Tells WordPress to load the WordPress theme and output it.
    * @var bool
    define(‘WP_USE_THEMES’, true);

    /** Loads the WordPress Environment and Template */

    So…I’m stuck. I’ve seen possible solutions by editing the php.ini file and checking the index.php file and I’ve tried them, but I’m still stuck with this screen. Is it me, or WordPress, or GoDaddy? Either way, it’s killing me!

    Any help that anyone could offer would be WONDERFUL!

    Thank you!

    PHP doesn’t appear to be running on the server. Have you contacted your hosts about it?

    Thanks for the response, esmi.

    Yes. I did reach out to the host and they said that they couldn’t narrow down a problem but the site is loading PHP script so it should be working. They mentioned there might be a problem in the htaccess file but they weren’t sure how I could go about fixing it. So, I’m still stuck.

    How to install in my local machine. I had been install new version of php. Now i download new version wordpress and install but not woking.

    Please help me on this regards.

    @kcstl314: Who is the web host?
