# PHP Include or get “RecentPosts”

 * I am new to modifying WordPress, but I am fumbling through a bit of it. I have
   a custom index page that I would like to include say 10 of the most recent posts
   from wordpress. Is there a snippet that I may use or a page somewhere that defines
   these items to insert into custom pages?

 * This one worked out great, and i was able to style it with CSS pretty easy… thank
   you for the response!
