# Php importer

 * I installed wordpress on my website, then wanted to import my old data to it,
   downloaded php importer, put it in upload folder, activated it, a screen asking
   for the file came up, I uploaded it and then the error message:
 * The uploaded file could not be moved to e:\inetpub\vhosts\mysite.com\httpdocs\
   blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09.
 * I had to create uploads/2010/09 manually because it was already giving me error
   messages that it couldn’t create.
 * In one screen it asked me for ftp password and I gave the information, but now
   I wonder, maybe I misstyped the password ? I don’t know. And I don’t know where
   to change it, reading online i found I should add this:
 * define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);
    define(‘FTP_HOST’, ‘xxx’); define(‘FTP_USER’,‘
   xx’); define(‘FTP_PASS’, ‘xxx’); define(‘FS_TIMEOUT’, xxx);
 * (of course with my informations) to wp-config.php and so I did, and replaced 
   wp-config with that new data, even though I believe its reading from somewhere
   else because ever since it asked me for ftp account it didn’t ask me again, only
   once, and when I downloaded wp-config no ftp account was set in the file, now
   it is, because I uploaded a modified version of the file.
 * What should I do :/
 * PS: mysite.com was just my edition

 * I deleted and tried it all again, then:
 * “Before you can upload your import file, you will need to fix the following error:
 * Unable to create directory e:\inetpub\vhosts\mysite.com\httpdocs\blog/wp-content/
   uploads/2010/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
 * That was the part where I created the folder manually
 * And chmod in my ftp doesn’t work
