Hello,

We’ve been getting these errors on our website:

PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /nas/content/live/prodtip/wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall/lib/CleantalkSP/SpbctWP/Scanner/Surface.php on line 644

and

PHP Warning: unlink(/nas/content/live/prodtip/wp-content/uploads/fw_files_for_blog_1//index.php): Permission denied in /nas/content/live/prodtip/wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall/inc/fw-update.php on line 625

Can you please help us solve these? Thank you! 🙂

Thank you for waiting.
1. The first is in the wp-content/cache directory, there are a lot of empty directories there. Please add the directory to the exceptions, and scanning now runs without errors:
  WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Security by CleanTalk —> General settings —> Directory exclusions for the malware scanner —> Save Changes
2. Please download and install the fix version from the link below:
  https://github.com/CleanTalk/security-malware-firewall/releases/download/fix-version/security-malware-firewall.zip

Hi @amagsumov ,

Thank you for attending to my concern.

I will try your solution for number 1, and let you know the results.

For number 2, do I need to deactivate and delete the current version of the plugin before installing the fix version? Or should I install the fix version while the current version is activated?

You can install the plugin while the current version is installed.
