  • Hi,

I did something and getting this error.
[07-Nov-2013 11:14:47 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare new_excerpt_more() (previously declared in /home1/complice/public_html/wp-content/themes/flexibility3/functions.php:161) in /home1/complice/public_html/wp-content/themes/flexibility3/functions.php on line 168

Can you please help or let me know the possible options I could do to resolve this issue?

I am getting 500 – Internal server error while trying to access my webpage or admin dashboard.

    Thanks in advance.

Try switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

Thank you. I have a doubt, Will it work if I modify the function.php and index.php [Faulty codes in these files and place them back to the FTP] – Will it work?

I mean, If I modify the faulty codes in the .php files and place them back using FTP? Will I regain the access to WordPress
