• Hi!

First of all – thanks for the great plugin. I still haven’t figured out how it works, sometimes I have to type the word several times and use some backspaces to trigger the frame with the link, but eventually it shows.

I took a look into my php error log and I see many many logs like:

[03-Nov-2015 14:01:04 UTC] PHP Warning: DOMDocument::loadHTML(): Document is empty in Entity, line: 1 in /home/ht682/paleosmak/wp-content/plugins/mentionable/includes/mentionable-postmetas.php on line 113

Is it something that you can fix?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hey!

Thank for reporting this. In order to help you I will need your WordPress and php version. It would also help me a lot if you would show me an example of the HTML inside the wysiwyg (everything inside the text section).

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

I use WP 4.3.1 and PHP 5.6.10. Not sure which HTML you mean, I just pasted a fragment of my php_errors.log file on my server. I haven’t seen it on the screen, just in the log.

When you enter content in a post you have 2 tabs (visual, text). Can you paste me the text?

Which post? I have 200 of them. I have no idea which one generated those errors. I think I could find which one I was writing then but I am quite sure it have had quite a few changes since then :/ I will be rather unable to send you the content of the post from the moment the errors appeared.

Basically the error you are seing means it’s unable to parse the HTML because of broken HTML. I could potentially silence the error but I would rather help you find where the broken HTML comes from.

It might be some post may have broken HTML like missing closing tag and so on. Does your plugin in this case display “Empty document” message? Maybe it would be better to display more verbose message with the document name? What do you think?

I totally agree. I’ll try to look into it as soon as I find some free time.

    Have a great day!
