    Why is this plugin so buggy? What is going on? I can’t create any new tickets since doing an update of Awesome Support plugins.

    I can’t submit any tickets on my site and when I do all I get is the following error! It looks like it has something to do with the plugin awesome-support-productivity-V4-8-0 which I downloaded from your website…

    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: array_intersect(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, bool given in /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support-productivity-V4-8-0/includes/functions/class_misc_options.php:256 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support-productivity-V4-8-0/includes/functions/class_misc_options.php(256): array_intersect() #1 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(307): WPAS_PF_Misc_Options->wpas_pf_limit_concurrently_open_tickets() #2 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php(191): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #3 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support/includes/functions-post.php(88): apply_filters() #4 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support/includes/functions-post.php(185): wpas_open_ticket() #5 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(307): wpas_new_ticket_submission() #6 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(331): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #7 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php(476): WP_Hook->do_action() #8 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support/includes/functions-actions.php(40): do_action() #9 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(307): wpas_process_actions() #10 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(331): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #11 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php(476): WP_Hook->do_action() #12 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-settings.php(598): do_action() #13 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-config.php(185): require_once('...') #14 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-load.php(50): require_once('...') #15 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once('...') #16 /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/index.php(17): require('...') #17 {main} thrown in /var/www/vhosts/vcatechnology.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support-productivity-V4-8-0/includes/functions/class_misc_options.php on line 256

    All seemed to have happened once I upgraded to PHP 8.0.26. It was working fine on PHP 7.4 but due to reasons out of my control, I was forced to upgrade to PHP 8. Currently running Wordpres 6.0.3

  • Hi @directdesignstudio

    I am sorry about the issue. We recommend using 7.4. We applied some fixes for 8.0, as it is a newer version, and we keep fixing any error that is coming with the upgrade. we are working to make it compatible with 8.0 and the later PHP versions. We are in the transition, For premium support on this issue, please open a ticket with us here

    Hi Jawad,

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    I figured PHP 7.4 is the only thing I can do to fix the problem but I’m stuck with PHP 8 because my hosting company removed PHP 7.4 from their servers as it is no longer supported having reached its end of life last month!

    What is the ETA on the transition and is there a way to track it on Github or similar? I have concerns about the progress/speed of updates happening… if this is not happening for months then my choices are to find another hosting supplier or another ticket support system!

    Interestingly downgrading to awesome-support-productivity-V4-6 resolves the issue and the ticket system works again. However, I don’t know what other knock-on effects this has. None for me so far.

    Hi @directdesignstudio

    Thank you for the reply, we need to focus on each error individually as the PHP 8.0 & PHP 8.1 are the latest versions. I have esclated this issue to the higher support and devleopment team to fix. At this point i cannot give you exact time of fixation. However, it is set to be fixed in January 2023.

    If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Regards

    Hi, just to reinforce the friend’s problem above, we are also experiencing this, we are unable to update PHP because of the ADDON “Power-Pack (Productivity)”, PHP7.4 has already been discontinued and we are currently on PHP8.2. Please, is there any update forecast? Thanks
