    Hi,

Just for testing purposes can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Seventeen.

Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

I could try a default theme and the plugin on a different site, but I can’t just switch themes on a site that has been working for years without damaging the site.

Hi, you can test a theme in the back end without affecting your current theme and site. Or you can use the following plugin.

How can I test a theme on my back end without affecting the current theme? the problem I am having is when I sign out, and then want to login to wp-admin again that I get the error messages and can’t log in.

I will try the plugin, first. Thank you

I did install the plugin on a clean site with twenty-seventeen and nothing else on the site and it worked there. My fear is that if I update the websites of other clients I have it is not going to work – 7 of my clients use the Divi theme and this simple shopping cart plugin.

Hi, if the plugin works with one of WordPress default themes then it is safe to say that your theme is causing this conflict. You should contact your theme developers about this issue. See if they can share some light into this issue.

The other option is to disable all other plugins then carry out a test. This is to verify that there is no conflicts with other plugins in your site.

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards

I really appreciate your help. I will do further testing in the morning, it is 1:30am here now and my brain is very tired. I did find a couple errors with php version and something else and updated them, so I will work on this more after some sleep.

Again, I really appreciate your help!

mbrsolution (@mbrsolution), Thank you so much for your help last night. The health check plugin did the trick. It revealed that the php version was still on 5.6, as soon as I updated it to 7.1 everything worked perfectly. I went through all my client accounts today that use that shopping cart and divi theme and made sure they were all set to php v. 7.1!

You were so great, I was so stressed! Thanks again!
