# PHP Error: Undefined array key “author”

 * As per the subject, on the latest release of WP-Super-Cache v3.0.3 (also using
   PHP 8.4, WP6.9.1 and MySQL 8) my WP-Query-Monitor plugin keeps detecting the 
   following PHP error from wp-super-cache when I load the plugin’s “Advanced” tab/
   page:
 * Undefined array key “author”
 * The location trace for this is given as follows:
 *     ```wp-block-code
           wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/partials/advanced.php:371    wpsc_render_partial()    wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache.php:1258    wp_cache_manager()    wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php:341    do_action('settings_page_wpsupercache')    wp-admin/admin.php:264
       ```

 * Ok this went away after I pressed ‘Save Settings’ for “Accepted Filenames & Rejected
   URIs”.

 * Hello [@ispreview](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ispreview/) – Thanks for
   the follow-up! That suggests the notice was likely caused by an uninitialized
   setting in the plugin options that got properly saved when you clicked Save Settings.
   You shouldn’t see it again now that the settings have been stored.
