# PHP – Disabled Functions

 * I am Mathias and I am writing from Brazil.
 * My local web host has informed me that for safety reasons they have disabled 
   a few PHP functions. These functions are:
 * Escapeshellarg
    Escapeshellcmd Exec Passthru Proc_close Proc_open Shell_exec 
   System Set_time_limit Dl Popen Parse_ini_file Show_source
 * Does anyone know if any of these functions are important for a WordPress blog?
