PHP code in custom post type template

Hi, very excellent plugin you have here.
I have a problem though with getting it to show up on the pages of a custom post type template. Is it possible to do this? I have alrady tried using both the<? php echo DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_PLUS(); ?>and<?php DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_PLUS();?>but neither work?
