    Thanks for your question.

I have not had the time to install PHP 8 and investigate what MLA changes are required. I hope to begin that process in the next few weeks. If you know of any specific issues, please post an update here and I will address them as soon as I can.

I will leave this topic unresolved and post an update when I have progress to report. Thanks for your understanding, patience and your interest in the plugin.

I have updated my system to PHP 8.0.9 and run a series of tests on the current MLA version 2.97. There was one “deprecated” warning in the MLA Insert Fixit example plugin, but I can find no problems with the MLA core code.

I believe MLA v2.97 to be compatible with PHP 8.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you find any issue with MLA running under PHP 8. I will work quickly to address any issues you find. Thanks again for moving this to my active development focus.

    Hi David,

Thanks for taking the time to investigate and report all should work fine.
I’ll try myself again and see what will happen.

    Cheers,
    Robin
