No, I’m not seeing issues. I’ve done this many times ( over various PHP versions, over a number of plugins in my stack) and I always get these answers from plugin devs; 1. It’s fully compatible. This is the answer I want. It tells me the company is not waiting but proactively have tested their plugin with X version of PHP and are happy to declare compatibility (just for their plugin, they’re not saying WordPress core is compatible). 2. It’s not officially supported but it ‘should’ work. They’re waiting for WordPress to officially support it.
