# PHP 8.2 Compatibility

 * Our host is going to remove support for PHP 7.4 and force upgrades to 8.2 before
   the end of the year. I’m using Version: 3.3.1 of the free version of the template,
   which is supposedly the current version. When I test the host to 8.2, the site
   crashes with the GeneratePress theme. I can get it to work with other themes 
   on 8.2. Any idea what the issue is with this theme and PHP 8.2 and when it will
   be fixed?

 * if you can enable WP Debug on the server and check the error log it should provide
   some info on whats causing the crash.

 * It actually looks like it was a conflict with the template and the plugin **PJW
   Query Child Of**
 * The site doesn’t use that plugin any longer so I just deleted it. The theme is
   working with 8.2 now.
