 * Hi,
 * Upon update to PHP 8.0 we are greeted with this error, we are running the latest
   version of the plugin.

 * The plugin has been compatible with PHP 8 for a long time. That error is not
   a PHP 8 error and indicates another problem, possibly with the data in your database.
 * Did you also update the plugin from an older version at the same time?

 * Hi [@johnny5](https://wordpress.org/support/users/johnny5/),
 * Yes we did update incrementally, switching back to PHP7.4 don’t have this error.

 * That may be the case, but it’s not a PHP 8 error as such – PHP 7.4 is probably
   just ignoring a problem that was always there on your site.
 * Without knowing what the data is that is causing the problem it’s hard for me
   to say. One solution would be to export your data, delete the plugin and all
   settings, and then reactivate and import your data.

 * Yeah, we’ll just probably do that. Thanks for the help.
