PHP 8.0 incompatibility

There’s an incompatibility of the plug-in with PHP 8.0.2 – specifically step 4 of the admin dashboard – wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-reviews-plugin-for-google%2Fsettings.php&tab=setup_no_reg&step=4

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 287 of the file /wp-content/plugins/wp-reviews-plugin-for-google/tabs/setup_no_reg.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Non-static method TrustindexPlugin::get_rating_stars() cannot be called statically in /wp-content/plugins/wp-reviews-plugin-for-google/tabs/setup_no_reg.php:287

If I revert the site to use PHP 7.4 I am able to finish all the steps and generate the shortcode. If I then go back to PHP 8.0 – then the widget works on the front-end, so it is only step 4 of the dashboard generator that’s incompatible.
