 * Date picker doesn’t seem to work, and there are issues when first activating 
   this plugin. Is there a fix planned if so when? If not going to have to move 
   on to something else.

 * These sound like a possible conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. 
   To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while 
   running the default WordPress theme?

 * no reverted back to default theme with all plugins turned off… tried again, still
   an issue.

 * There’s an updated version of the plugin due for release soon with fixes related
   to PHP 7. Are you able to test with a different version of PHP to verify this
   is the issue you’re experiencing?

 * I’m also experiencing an issue with PHP 7 and Events Manager. Reverting PHP back
   to version 5.6 solves the problem.
 * Unfortunately I can’t change the PHP version on my production server, it has 
   to stay at 7. Can we expect a fix in the near future?

 * I had several events showing the year as 1970 using php7. Reverting back to php5.6
   solved the issue.
