 * on my site, in site health i get the message
 * PHP modules perform most of the tasks on the server that make your site run.
   Any changes to these must be made by your server administrator.
 * The WordPress Hosting Team maintains a list of those modules, both recommended
   and required, in [the team handbook(opens in a new tab)](https://make.wordpress.org/hosting/handbook/handbook/server-environment/#php-extensions).
    - Warning The optional module, exif, is not installed, or has been disabled.
    - Warning The optional module, fileinfo, is not installed, or has been disabled.
    - Warning The optional module, imagick, is not installed, or has been disabled.
    - Warning The optional module, intl, is not installed, or has been disabled.
 * So when I change the php to include these files the site crashes and I can’t
   get in again until I go back and put it back to where it was.
 * meaning I get nowhere.
 * If anyone can help please advise
 * Many Thanks
 * Steven

 * Have a look at the error log of your hosting. There you should be able to see
   why there is an error message when you activate the PHP modules. Based on this,
   you should be able to find the solution. My guess is either an incomplete server
   configuration or a plugin that is not compatible with it.
