php 5, any variant?

    Excuse me, we need to use php 5 because a lot of old services on our hosting. Can we install wordpress? May be I can find some info about how to do that on php 5 somewhere? Thanks

    WordPress will work on most PHP Versions down to 5.2, but it’s always recommended to run as high a version as possible due to the security fixes that have been added to later versions.

    WordPress should work on any server having PHP 5.2+. For better security and performance, you should consider using latest PHP version. You should plan to upgrade your old services to use latest PHP version. It is possible that you may get an email from your provider on one day stating that they will discontinue.
