Be gentle here folks – newbie to all this and I do not speak html and thus I use the visual editor to create my pages.

    I created a new post:

When I previewed the page it looked great. I published it and when I hit ‘VIEW PAGE’ on the editing page – it looked great.

When I navigate to the page, the frames for the photos I created in the wordpress photo editor are present, but ALL the images have disappeared.

I tried what little I knew, and searching here turned up a series of answers in html code, so not real helpful to this neophyte.

Any easy solution to the WYSIWYG NOT being WYSIWYG? 🙂

    Big thanks

  • Solved it myself -so to help others…..

You CAN NOT cut and paste photos into the VIEW MODE. Photos must be uploaded by clicking the “upload/Insert” button at the top of the page. Once uploaded you can click ‘SHOW’ beside the thumbnail, enter your perimeters and save. Works reasonably well however layout is a bit tricky.
