  • So I am building a site using WordPress and the Mantra theme. I am doing it locally on my computer so I am unable to show the issue I am having. Hopefully, I can describe it well enough.

On each of my child pages, I have a gallery of photos. Right now, when you click on a photo, it opens up a gallery type view with the description listed under it. This is fine, but not what I want. For this page, I want the user to click on the photo and have it take them to the page where the item is instead of opening up the photo viewer. How can this be done? Can it be done?

I am working dilligently trying to get this done so I can make my site live, but I keep running into little snags here and there. Hopefully, someday, I will get it done!

  • Sure this can be done. I have a draft site doing something similar. There are other issues I ran into when creating my site on a WAMP server so I found it easier to set up a draft in a different subdomain. Edit the image. The link that it jumps to is defined in the EDIT IMAGE pane, “link URL.”
