Photos in IE show Weird tags

• When I upload pics in the blog, in IE I see tags like these : <!–[if gte vml 1]> –><!–[if !vml]–>

Whereas in Firefox the pics appear without these tags showing.
Any idea why this happens?
Thanks.

That’s nothing that exists in WordPress.

Are you copy/pasting from another application like MS Word?

Yes … since I can’t copy pics directly into the blog. I save my word doc as a webpage, open the html and then copy teh text and pics to WordPRess ..
that’s how I get this junk character.
(surprisingly .. it doesn’t show up in Firefox)

Is this the only way to make pictures apear in the blog(other than integrating flcikr?)
