Photos come up as black boxes

    Hi,
    I have been trying to put images on my site but they just won’t work. I just get a blacked out box. I have set up a test site and photos upload to that but not my main website. I did run the WordPress updates and I wonder if that has caused the problem.
    Can you please help.

    I want to make sure I understand it. are you saying the photos work on the “test site” bot not on your “main website”?

    Are these “test site” and the “main website” on the same server?
    Same settings?
    Same theme?
    Same plugins?
