[Resolved] photon.php exceeds maximum execution time

    @dragonfly

    Hello,

    I started getting the following error after I activated photon.

    PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/photon.php on line 189

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Spylon

    Some web servers have a low PHP memory limit as a default. Can you check to see what your PHP memory limit is and increase it? I’ve heard other users had success updating it to 32MB and others said going up as far as 64MB or 128MB was needed for their server.

    Checking back in here. Since you reported a timeout instead of a memory error, I should have directed you to increase max_execution_time instead of the PHP memory limit. Can you give that a try?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the follow up. The issue was a page I had that has 2000 images on it. A bug in my code caused it to have 10 times as many images, 20K images was too much for photon to handle. 2K images seems to be fine.

    Thanks Again.
