Photonic photos loading issue

    So, I’ve been using photonic photos for a while, and for the most part im pretty happy with it. But I have this weird issue that if any plugin on my site needs an update, the photos wont load and the loading icon just keeps going forever. Even when the plugin that needs updating has nothing to do with photonic or photos in general, it keeps giving me the same issue. I tried putting auto update on my plugins, but it takes multiple days before a plugin updates itself after an update is released.
    Feel like its just some kind of setting i messed up, but i have no clue how to solve it. At the moment, the album loading works, because all my plugins are up to date

    You have a couple of issues:

    1. One of your plugins (a navigation menu plugin for Elementor) is throwing a JS error. This might not be impacting anything right now, but it might be compounding issues with the next point.
    2. You are using a caching plugin with Google Photos. This in itself will cause issues because Google Photos provides URLs that expire in ~30 minutes, and a caching plugin cannot deal with that. Normally this starts giving you errors (not a spinning icon), but due to the previous issue, you might be getting a spinning icon. Note that your site will break after a very short while and that is not dependent on any plugin requiring an update.

    Thanks for the reply,
    I guess the plugin giving the JS error is “Elementor Header & Footer Builder”
    I am also using “LiteSpeed Cache”
    I’m not a JS or HTML programmer so I don’t really know what to do with this information, sould I just remove the cache plugin? or what steps should I take to solve this isse?

    I am not familiar with your caching plugin, but you might have an option to exclude this particular page from the caching plugin’s configuration.

    Ok ill give it a try,
    also, any idea on how to fix the JS error in the elementor header plugin?
    Or should i just contact the plugin authors? If so, could you tell me what kind of JS error its giving?

    You have to contact the plugin authors. If you are on Chrome, you can either hit F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I. That will show you what the error is (but you don’t have to copy-paste that – if you tell the plugin developers that this is triggering a JS error, they will know what to do).
