First let me say Photonic is simply the best WP plugin I’ve found for addressing the display of images from Flickr!

After installing Photonic 1.63 (and 1.64) I found that the Master Slider plugin’s builtin editor (I presume TinyMCE) no longer worked. I disabled all plugins and one by one enabled them isolating Photonic as the conflict. Photonic v1.63 added TinyMCE integration I believe. I have rolled back to Photonic v1.62 in order to keep my photos online. The page that displays the Master Slider is https://goo.gl/cHLck5; the Photonic page is https://goo.gl/qCP899
Let me know if I should provide more specific info or if you need access to the WordPress site. Thank you for a terrific plugin!

    Hi,
You can keep versions 1.63 (or 1.64) and simply disable the TinyMCE functionality from Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Generic Settings → Disable shortcode editing in Visual Editor.

Also, the TinyMCE piece wouldn’t have affected the display of your photos in the front-end, but would have only affected your ability to use the visual editor.

Let me know if issues persist even after disabling the shortcode editing capability.

Indeed, once I realized what was going on I saw that I could still function w/both plugins on the frontend.

I will try disabling TinyMCE in Photonic and will advise

    Thank you!

Not sure how I managed to miss that fairly obvious setting! In any case, I disabled the visual editor in 1.64 and Master Slider’s visual editor now works.

    Thank you for your help.

Great! I am marking this resolved, unless you think something else needs to be done.
