Photon is off, yet I get wp.com links (and possibly related issues)

    Photon was never enabled for my site, it is verifiably currently disabled, and Jetpack was uninstalled, purged manually from settings, and reinstalled.

    Still, galleries (not just tiled ones, but those as well) link to a CDN version of my images on i[01].wp.com/… instead of the local image.

    I have uploaded screencaps of the Photon settings and a screenshot of a page with the CDN link showing.

    In a related issue since the upgrade tiled galleries seem to strip the “src=”” part from thumbnails. This seems to break compatibility with Lightbox Plus Color Box.

    I’ve searched the forums and haven’t found a similar thread so I am more than willing to concede that this is something I hosed up, but it’s a little too coincidental that this started with the Jetpack upgrade.

    With the Tiled Galleries module active, most of the gallery forms will still use Photon, regardless of Photon’s settings, since they resize images on the fly to fit the gallery and that type of dynamic resizing isn’t reliably available in WordPress.

    Regarding the stripping of the src, could you give me an example so I can make sure I’m on the same page. Checking what I thought you meant, there’s still an src on the thumbnails so I might be looking in the wrong place.
