# How to disable photon image compression?

 * by default photon compressing the file which leads to loss the image quality.
   i would like to keep original image quality. is it possible?
 * this one is working but original image size is around 200kb and with adding `
   quality=100` image size become around 800kb
    `https://i2.wp.com/domain.jpg?quality
   =100`

 * That is the correct way to do it, however, if the requesting web browser supports
   the WebP image format, then PNG and JPEG images will automatically be converted
   to the WebP image format by the server. When specifying 100 as the quality in
   this instance, a lossless compressed image will be produced, which in some instances
   may result in a file larger than the original.

 * is there anyway we can disable WebP image and show the original image extension?
   i assuming in this way photon will show the original image size.
