photo owner – front end display & notifications

    Hi OpaJaap!

    I would like to add new entries to the wish list:
    1. option to display in front end a photo owner (who uploaded the photo),
    2. option to send a notification of a photo comment to the photo owner.

    Case study:
    My family is using WPPA+ to share photos on our family web site. Everybody can upload an image to any album, divided by subject. A visitor of an album in front-end, especially in the slideshow mode, wants to know who is the autor/owner of the photo (and its description). After a new comment is added by someone the photo owner (not the album owner) wants to get an email notification of the comment.

    I consider this feature not very complicated. Conditionally displayed photo owner could appear in the name or description box. The Table IV F5 select list could be extended by entries: — Photo owner —, — Photo & Album owner —.

    I can’t imagine that we are the only group of people who need this.

    It will take a few days longer as you are used to, because i am currently moving to another location and have this and next week no time for implementing new features, but it will be high on the priority list.
    Thanx for the idea. Closed for now, follow the changelog to see when it arrives.
