Is it possible to use couple (different) styles for the photo gallery? or just only the style of the core WordPress gallery plugin interface type?

Interface of the gallery is absolutely different then core wordpress gallery interface. In our plugin you can customize interface of the gallery thumbnails layout, change colors for the borders and backgrounds. Settings of the hovered thumbnails interface elements. All gallery buttons are fully customizable. Please check our gallery demo section to see difference between styles. For example:
