Photo gallery in Portfolio

Hi there,
Since this is my first message in wordpress forum, I’ll try to give a brief explanation about my issue and I hope I do not violate any rules or even if it is reposted.

I am looking for a solution a few days now with no success.
Tried all possible ways I know, even a few plug ins.

My problem is:
I run a website about a tattoo convention. meaning i am hosting several portfolios of tattooists check here: http://cyprustattooconvention.com/artists/

Already hacked and created years as you might see above (2014-2016) with landing page 2016 having all the attending artists in our future event.

What troubles me and can not find a solution is, when I am adding a few pictures as promotion and demonstration for each artist, the 2 options i get from the default engine of portfolio and adding and creating a galley are poor looking and I really do not like it.

When i install a plug in to sort or even create a gallery, the images go directly underneath the artists information and it brings the feature item on the left side where my gallery should have been:
