Photo Gallery

I’m left confused with the many photogalleries on the plugins page here…

I’m trying to get a photo gallery plugin which will also print the description or alt fields below the pictures… the few I’ve tried so far are nice as they neatly create thumbnails of the pictures and place them nicely… but they don’t deliver the alt or the description fields…

All pictures are uploaded on my wordpress server itself (no flickr etc.) and I’m looking for a plugin which would make nice gallery (perhaps click and next pic) along with printing description and/or alt field.
