Photo filmstrip gallery with extensive description

Hi all,

I feel almost embarrassed to ask, but I am unable to find a plugin that does the following. I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

What I require is the following. I am looking for a photo gallery plugin, that organises photos in galleries and shows an entire gallery using a pretty filmstrip. Of those, numerous can be found (I like GRAND Flash Album Gallery, for example). What I also need it to be able to do, is when I click one item in the filmstrip, it shows the photo rather large, say 50% of the available width, and a rather large description field (say the other 50%).

Its purpose is to show a product catalog. For this purpose, I have been using Inventory Manager up until now, because it is able to list products, with a photo, and custom property fields. However, the filmstrip has become a mandatory requirement and since then, I’m stuck.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
