Photo Credits

I’m working on a couple new sites where credits are very important. A single photo may have a credit for: photographer, model(s), make-up, stylist, wardrobe, rigging, props, and more. It is often vital that these credits be listed (without them, it may be illegal to display the image).

I’ve thought about some sort of code to put in the caption, but that just becomes a mess, and detracts from the flow of the caption & photo.

Does anyone know of an elegant system that allows multiple credits to be attached to a photo without showing a huge list or some complex code?

If there’s some way to “tag” images, that would be ideal. I’ve thought about using the alt-text, but that presents SEO problems. Is there a plugin out there for this?

Any help is greatly appreciated, and any elegant solutions will be shared in all the photography forums in which I participate.
