    I have a client that has customers who call in orders and my client will process the order online for them, but I advised him to not use his own login/id to do this, but to use the customers (who previously signed up or ordered online).

    How would my client place an online order for a phone-in customer but doesn’t know the login information (and neither does the customer)?

    And sometimes he gets a few customers that just want to place an order over the phone and not provide their email address (which is required to place online orders) and I don’t want him to use his own.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @lavigne2069,

    You may change the Role of that customer to a Shop Manager instead. So, That he can create orders from Backend directly and assign them to proper customer or guest as needed.

    From your WordPress Dashboard.
    Go to > Users.
    You will see a list of users who are using your website. Find and click on the customer who you want to make the manager.

    Then Change ROLE option to Shop Manager from Customer.

    He will get access to the backend with this and he can access the WooCommerce Menu and also the pages and posts menu.

    no…I think you’re confused…

    My client is logged in as ADMIN at any given time (he updates his website, adds products, etc.), but he receives phone calls from customers who want to place an order over the phone – he needs to be able to login on the website and place the order online to go through merchant services.

    His dilemma is not having login ID and password for the phone in customer and from my experience with WP, there is no way to access this unless he changes the password for this customer and then saves it on his computer for future access.
