    Hi,

    So have been looking for a SMS solution for my Dokan Pro marketplace, and Texty is exactly what I am after! It works perfectly.

    Just the one thing that I have an issue with is when a user creates an account they are asked for their phone number (as standard from WordPress). But this phone number is not then added to their account details under “Phone Number (Texty)”. As can be seen here: https://snipboard.io/a1Orkg.jpg

    Which means that when they make a comment on a post they do not receive a SMS about it, beacuse there is no phone number under the “Texty” section on their account.

    P.S The “Phone Number (Texty)” can only be added from the admin dashboard, meaning customers/vendors can not add their number manually.

    Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

    Hello @harrysykes98, thanks for raising this issue.

    You mentioned when someone creates a user account, they are asked for a phone number. Dokan only asks for a phone number if they are a vendor, customers are never asked for a phone number, also not in standard WordPress. That’s why it’s not an implemented feature.

    When someone creates an account via the WooCommerce checkout process, the phone number can be updated to the “Phone Number (Texty)” field. But also, for all WooCommerce communication, their billing phone number is being used currently.

    So having a sync between those numbers is a good idea.

    Sorry, I don’t think I explained it very well.

    You’re absolutely right, the customers SMS texts work great. When they input their phone number at checkout this is the number they then receive the SMS updates. Great!

    The issue I am having is that when the vendor adds their phone number at registration, it doesn’t add it to the “Phone Number (Texty)” field of the vendors account and therefore, the vendor doesn’t receive the SMS updates, unless admin add the number manually (which is very time consuming when having high levels of vendors).

    So I need it to automatically sync the number that vendors put in at registration to the “Phone Number (Texty)” field of their account. Will I need to manually code this to allow the automatic sync between vendors number at registration and the “Phone Number (Texty) field?

    Does that make my issue a little clearer? Sorry for any confusion.

    I understand now. Syncing the vendor phone number to Texty will be added in the next version.
