• Hi
Is there any way to use the user’s mobile number as a password by default?

    No. That’s highly insecure.

Using a password as a phone number is not secure. Literally hundreds of people have my phone number and I don’t trust any of them onto my site.

I’ve looked to see if there is a WordPress plugin that lets you get a text message instead of any email but I’ve not found one.

This is one of the reasons working email on your WordPress installation is important. If the user needs a reset then the WordPress installation an email the user’s registered email address.
