 * Using the plugin as-is, I’m seeing phantom `<br>` after the hidden “cmd” and “
   business” tags. I could not find where these are added in the plugin code. Any
   ideas?

 * Yes, the plugin does not add any `<br>` tags, so if you see that in your output,
   they must come from somewhere else.
